First Amendment Audits (Single License)

Course Description

This interactive, computer-based training course prepares participants to manage the challenges of First Amendment Audits. Through real-world scenarios learners will understand auditor goals, identify common behaviors, and develop effective, legally compliant responses that protect both individual rights and organizational reputation.

Handling First Amendment auditors requires a specialized approach, as their actions often resemble other suspicious behaviors but demand unique responses. This course helps participants recognize key behaviors—such as assertive questioning or intentional silence—while maintaining a calm, professional demeanor. Additionally, learners will explore the critical differences between public and private spaces, empowering them to act within the boundaries of the law.

By the end of the training, participants will have the tools to recognize and navigate First Amendment Audits with confidence and composure, minimizing risk, and avoiding unnecessary escalation.
