Team Leadership

Sal Lifrieri

Founder and CEO

Sal Lifrieri is the Founder and CEO of PCC Secure, with over 20 years of experience at the NYPD, where he achieved the rank of Detective 1st Grade and was a member of the elite Hostage Negotiation Team. He is certified as an Emergency Psychological Technician and by the Department of Justice as a Technical Assistance Provider for threat and vulnerability assessments. Mr. Lifrieri also served as the Director of Security and Intelligence Operations for New York City’s Office of Emergency Management, where he developed and implemented global intelligence operations. Additionally, he was an Executive Vice President and Diversified Security Solutions board member, now known as Securitas Security Services.

An internationally recognized security and terrorism expert, Mr. Lifrieri has lectured on crisis and consequence management for the US Department of Defense Marshall Center for International Security Studies and is a sought-after commentator by major news outlets such as ABC, CBS, CNN, Fox News, and NBC. He has also taught courses on terrorism and crisis management at Iona University, lectured at Fordham and Pepperdine Universities and was an instructor for the NYPD’s Homicide Investigators Course.

Mr. Lifrieri’s contributions to the industry and community include delivering numerous keynotes and lectures for the Risk Management Society (RIMS), the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA), and the US Department of Justice. Additionally, he has provided pro bono services for the Victims Assistance Center of Westchester County. In recognition of his community leadership, Mr. Lifrieri received the Guardian Angel Role Model Award in 2007 and the Shem Tov award from Stephen Wise Free Synagogue.

Mr. Lifrieri majored in Criminal Justice with a minor in Criminal Law for four years at John Jay College of Criminal Justice.

John Fitzpatrick

Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer

John Fitzpatrick is the Chief Operating Officer of PCC Secure, overseeing a wide range of protection-related activities for corporate leadership, commercial and residential properties, and transportation staff across multiple locations nationwide.

With 27 years of extensive law enforcement experience, Mr. Fitzpatrick has served as a commanding officer for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, managing several of the tristate area’s most extensive transportation facilities. He has played a crucial role in overseeing significant events in New York City, including the Republican National Convention at Madison Square Garden and the UN General Assembly.

Mr. Fitzpatrick was also an MTA Interagency Counter-Terrorism Task Force member, working closely with the FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force and the NYPD Intelligence Bureau. He lectured on risk and threat assessment in this role and shared his expertise with MTA employees.

After retiring from law enforcement as a Deputy Inspector with the Port Authority Police Department, Mr. Fitzpatrick transitioned to the private sector, where he provided personal security for high-profile individuals, including the UN Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, before joining PCC Secure.

Christine McQuillan, CIT

Director, Specialized Training Division

Christine McQuillan is a Director and the Chief Course Designer and Producer at PCC Secure, where she leads the Specialized Training Division. She is responsible for developing and overseeing all online and in-person security training courses, ensuring they meet the highest industry standards for quality and effectiveness. With a robust instructional design and e-learning development background, Ms. McQuillan is adept at crafting engaging and comprehensive security training programs that provide participants with relevant, practical, and up-to-date knowledge.

At PCC Secure, Ms. McQuillan’s leadership has been instrumental in expanding the company’s training offerings, enabling clients to address evolving security challenges better. Her commitment to creating educational experiences that not only inform but also empower learners to apply their skills in real-world scenarios is unwavering. This dedication is evident in her innovative approach to course design, which incorporates interactive elements and multimedia, enhancing learner engagement and retention.

Before joining PCC Secure, Ms. McQuillan honed her skills as an educator in inner-city Chicago and as a flight attendant trainer, focusing on emergency evacuations, equipment procedures, and aviation security. Her niche expertise is creating courses on security, occupational health and safety, and public health topics, making her a valuable asset to PCC Secure’s training initiatives.

Ms. McQuillan holds a Bachelor of Science in Education from Illinois State University and is a Certified Instructional Trainer accredited by the Board of Certified Safety Professionals. Her commitment to professional development is further underscored by her completion of OSHA 30 outreach training. Her dedication to excellence and continuous improvement has established her as an instructional design and training leader.

In addition to her technical skills, Ms. McQuillan is known for her collaborative approach. She works closely with clients to ensure that training solutions align with their specific needs and objectives. Her unique ability to integrate client branding and messaging into course content further enhances the impact and effectiveness of the training programs she develops, demonstrating her understanding of client needs and her adaptability.

Michael Spivey

Senior Associate

Michael Spivey is a retired U.S. Army Warrant Officer with over 20 years of experience in the fields of Aviation, Intelligence, and Special Operations. He has decades of formalized training and expertise in special operations, intelligence operations, security management, and aviation operations. He is an accomplished rotary wing instructor pilot with over 2000 hours of flight time, including 800+ combat hours. He has foreign language training and spent the majority of his 23 year career either in combat zones or hostile environments embedded, training with, and instructing host nation special operations forces.

At PCC Secure, Mr. Spivey has helped stand up and expand the Intelligence Operations Center (IOC) as well the Threat Assessment Group (TAG). His knowledge and background in Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT), Signals Intelligence (SIGINT), and Human Intelligence (HUMINT), bring a strong foundation to the PCC team. He is responsible for interfacing with the director and clients to develop and execute an Intelligence plan of action that is custom tailored to the needs and sensitivities of each client.

Mr. Spivey is a decorated combat Veteran who among his many awards, has been commended 3 times for valor under intense enemy fire during multiple combat missions. He is a Purple Heart recipient that was wounded in Afghanistan and works in his spare time to help support charities that benefit wounded Veterans, especially those suffering from Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Colgate University with a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations.   

Robert Aspenleiter

Robert Aspenleiter has a robust background combining law enforcement and business development, particularly in the security sector. With over 40 years of experience, he has transitioned from serving as an undercover detective for the New York City Police Department to taking on significant roles in business development, acquisitions, and sales for PCC Secure.

His extensive experience spans various major regions including New York, Washington D.C., Virginia, and Maryland, where he has secured Department of Defense contracts for notable companies such as Wells Fargo Security, Securitas, ISS Worldwide Services, and the Center for Advanced Defense Studies.

Additionally, Mr. Aspenleiter has delivered services to high-profile clients including Lehman Brothers, American Express, the New York Yankees, Lockheed Martin, Booz Allen Hamilton, Vornado Properties, and the Washington D.C. School System. His comprehensive skill set and connections within law enforcement likely enhance his effectiveness in navigating the security landscape and fostering relationships across sectors.

Paul Kirvan

Director, Crisis and Contingency Planning
Paul Kirvan is a senior consultant and IT auditor with PCC Secure. He has over 25 years of experience in enterprise risk management, incident management, operational resilience and IT auditing. Mr. Kirvan is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and Fellow of the Business Continuity Institute (FBCI). He is a regular contributor to TechTarget.

Advisory Board

Jeff Wierichs

Jeff Wierichs is a Managing Partner at Korn Ferry. Mr. Wierichs has more than 25 years of experience with expertise in executive recruiting and Human Resources aspects to business ventures. He has served as VP of Sales and Marketing at Time Warner as well as management and marketing positions with ConAgra, RJR Nabisco and Proctor & Gamble. Mr. Wierichs is currently a member of the Union League Club where he sits on the Board of Governors and was previously on the board of trustees for Academy of Notre Dame at Villanova and Baruch. He also serves as President of the non-profit TAPP Foundation and is active in numerous charities for military veterans’ organizations. His ground up expertise in various aspects of Human Resources will make him a valuable resource to PCM.

Frederick J. Corrubia

Frederick J. Corrubia is a former Chief of Department for the Paramus Police Department with 35 years of law enforcement and command expertise. He is also a veteran of the USAF. He was named Chief of the Year in 2005 by DARE and is widely viewed as the catalyst in transitioning the Paramus PD from a reactive to proactive law enforcement entity. Chief Corrubia will impart his law enforcement leadership, management and networking capabilities to PCM.

Steve Reitano

Stephen V Reitano is the former Deputy Executive Director and CFO of the New York State Metropolitan Transportation Authority, the largest authority in the Western Hemisphere. Prior to that he was the Commissioner of Finance for Westchester County, NY.

Mr. Reitano was also the president of the Enterprise Security Systems division of Diebold which installed the security systems for many major organizations including the United Nations, the Bank of America, the New York Times and the New York State Supreme Court in Brooklyn, NY.

Mr. Reitano has over 35 years of experience in management, finance and key governmental roles. He is currently the president of Sprague Associates LLC which he started in 2000. Reitano is a licensed real estate agent and a licensed mortgage loan officer in the State of New York. Reitano has a BA in economics and an MBA in financial management from Iona College where he currently serves on the board.

Mark Cohen

Mark Cohen is a Certified Public Accountant and a partner at Bloom & Streit located in Westchester County, New York. He has been a partner of the firm for 30 years and has extensive experience handling portfolios for both corporations and private individuals. Over the past 18 years, Mr. Cohen has served as PCC Secure accountant and financial advisor.
